Quality Engineer:

Bazz Houston Company is in immediate need of an experienced Quality Engineer.  The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience comprising of 5+ years with quality systems (ISO/QS). Familiarity with metals and metal stamped products is a definite plus.  Ability to work in a fast paced, tight deadline job shop-manufacturing environment is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise quality technicians and/or ISO Internal Auditors
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation
• Creates Quality Control plans, First Article forms using APQP problem solving prevention techniques
• Develop and implement sampling procedures, designs, create forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data
• Establish program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities
• Perform PPAP studies and quality system audits using FMEA problem solving techniques
• Direct and/or train workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability
• Compile and write training materials and conducts training sessions on quality control activities
• Actively participate in New Product Introduction and MRB meetings

Tool & Die Maker

Bazz Houston has an immediate need for a seasoned and experienced Tool & Die Maker with a minimum 3-5 years experience in metal forming tooling preferably in a fast paced job shop environment.
